About Stefan Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Who we are

The Maker of Black Belts and Champions

On and Off the Mat. And the pioneer of Jiu Jitsu in North San Diego County. Formerly Gracie Jiu Jitsu Carlsbad and Gracie Jiu- Jitsu San Marcos

Practical, disciplined Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids, adults, and families in North San Diego County — built to protect, strengthen, and transform

Stefan Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a community-first martial arts school where real-life skills meet relentless coaching. We teach Gracie-style Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with an emphasis on self-defense, posture and pressure-based control, and progression that turns beginners into confident competitors — and confident people.

We’re serious about technique, safety, and results — but we’re also a place where people have fun, support each other, and grow. Whether you want practical self-defense, a high-performance competition track, or a structured kids program that builds discipline and confidence, you’ll find it here.
